Getting started

Do I have to pay to join?
No — sign-up, fleet management, posting loads, and chatting are all free. Lazi only earns when a match completes: a 5% service fee charged to the shipper, never the carrier. See pricing for the breakdown.
How long does sign-up take?
Under three minutes. Email, company name, one vehicle, and you can browse matches. Bank details for payouts can wait until your first job lands.
I got an invite link — what now?
Tap the link from the device the invite was sent to (email or phone). It auto-binds you to the inviting company under the role they chose. Tokens expire after 7 days — if yours has lapsed, email us and we'll resend.

Posting + matching

What does "Go Lazi" do?
It changes your truck from Working to Lazi (available). Loads going your way light up amber on the map and a suggested match pops up if there's a good fit on your route.
Can I limit who sees my post?
Yes — every post can be marked Public, Network Only (your Trusted Circle), or Direct (one specific company). Pick per post; the default is Network Only.
How are suggested prices calculated?
A transparent formula: equipment-type rate per km × distance, then a backload discount — labour and distance are reduced, while fuel and RUC pass through at cost, so a backload typically lands around 65–75% of dedicated freight. The numbers and the formula both show on the post — no black box.
How do ratings work?
Once a job completes, each side can leave the other a 1–5 star rating from the job page. Ratings + completed-job counts show on bids and load cards, so everyone sees who they're dealing with. One rating per job.

Payments + payouts

When does the carrier get paid?
Within 48 hours of both sides confirming delivery via the digital ticket. Paid straight to the carrier's NZ bank, full listed amount.
What does the 5% fee cover?
Stripe processing, GST-compliant invoicing, the matching service, support, and the platform. It's only ever charged to the shipper.
Where do I see invoices?
In History — every completed match has a downloadable PDF invoice for each party.

Team + partners

How do I invite a driver or dispatcher?
In Team, tap Invite. Email or SMS the link — the new user signs up bound to your company under the role you picked.
How do I invite a partner company?
In Partners, create a partner invite — they sign up as their own company and land in your Trusted Circle, not your team.

Safety + privacy

Who can see my fleet and pricing?
Only people inside your company by default. Partner companies see only what you share per-post. Drivers can be configured to see job details without pricing if the company prefers.
Can I leave or delete my account?
Yes. Signed in, open Settings → Account to leave your company or request account deletion under the NZ Privacy Act. We anonymise your personal details; the financial records we're legally required to keep for IRD (your past invoices + payments) are retained against your company, not you.
